Kwentuhog: A Bedtime Story

Four stories. One bed. Every secret the day refuses to hear. Act Avenue's Kwentuhog: A Bedtime Story is the culminating production of this year's workshoppers, a theater piece that turns the night into a stage for voices society prefers to silence. Across four separate, ORIGINAL and VIRGIN stories, each scene begins and ends in a bed that shifts with every narrative: a place of confession, rest, dreams, healing, and sometimes struggle. Part safe haven, part trap, part quiet witness, it threads the stories together into one portrait of the society we live in. More than a showcase of acting craft, Kwentuhog is a collective act of listening and storytelling, an invitation to face the stories usually whispered in the dark, because they belong in the light of day too.
